Nine people, including the groom, were killed when a car going for a procession fell into a river in Kota in Rajasthan. The incident took place when the procession was going from Barwara to Ujjain on Chauth and fell into the Chambal river from the Nayapura culvert. On getting the information, the police reached the spot and started the rescue, but no one could be saved.

In the information received from the police, it came to the fore that a procession was going from Barwara to Ujjain for Chauth. There were 9 people inside the car. Along with this a bus full of processions was also running.
SP Kesar Singh Shekhawat said that the bus had overtaken and the car deviated from behind. During this time the car was passing through the small culvert of Nayapura Chambal river. Then he lost his balance and the car fell into the river below the culvert.

police said that a groom named Avinash was also sitting inside the car. This car was going to Ujjain. In which some people were involved in Chauth Ka Barwada and some people from Jaipur. However, the police are trying to identify the dead. There was chaos on the spot. Anyone who heard about the accident immediately rushed to the aid of the occupants of the car.
