Telangana News: It has been raining heavily in Telangana for the past 3 days. Cloud cover and heavy rains are lashing various districts of the state. Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered a three-day holiday for all educational institutions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. As per the Chief Minister’s order, the concerned departments should take appropriate action in this matter. State Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar on Sunday directed District Collectors to work closely with all departments and take preventive measures to avoid any untoward incident.

The Chief Secretary alerted the District Collectors

As instructed by Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Secretary on Sunday reviewed the situation in the state due to heavy rains through video conferencing with all District Collectors. The Chief Secretary said that since the state has been experiencing heavy rains for the last 3 days, the District Collector should be on alert and take all measures to prevent loss of life, property or property. He directed the officials to set up control rooms in the district offices and keep vigilance. He asked the officials of irrigation, panchayat raj, municipal administration and energy department to ensure that there is no problem due to continuous rains.

“People should be shifted to camps if necessary”
The chief secretary said that heavy rain is falling in the districts of Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Bethapally, Sirisila, Bhubalapally and Muluku. He said the authorities should be alert as drains, ponds and reservoirs are being dug. If necessary, people living in low-lying areas can be shifted to special camps, Someskumar said. He also said that if the roads are damaged, they should be repaired immediately. Special Principal Secretary Energy Sunil Sharma, Special Principal Secretary Urban Administration and Urban Development Arvind Kumar and other officials participated in the video screening. Low-lying areas are inundated due to continuous rains in the state. In various districts, roads are waterlogged at some places, while rivers and streams are flooded at many places.

Rain warning in these districts of Telangana
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that heavy to very heavy rain will occur in Adilabad, Komaram Bhim, Manserial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Rajanna Sirisila districts from 10 am on Sunday to 8.30 am on Monday. expected. Similarly, from 8.30 am on 11th July to 8.30 am on 12th July, heavy to very heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Adilabad, Gomaram Bhim, Manjerial, Nirmal districts. The IMD further said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in Telangana on July 10 and 11.
