Let us tell you that in the last elections, the support base of the CPI(M) and the Left parties has been decreasing continuously, although the performance of the CPI(M) in the last civic elections was good. The CPI(M), which ruled Bengal for 34 years, has been completely wiped out in the Lok Sabha elections and assembly elections.

Suryakant Mishra and Viman Basu not included in the committee

Former CPI(M) state secretary Dr Suryakant Mishra, Left Front president Viman Basu and Nepal Dev have not been included in the new state committee. This is very important. Because before this the state CPI(M) was being run under the leadership of these leaders.
