Fast story of Shatila Ekadashi –

According to the fast story of Shatila Ekadashi, there lived a Brahmin in ancient times. She always fasted and worshiped. Although she was very pious but never used to donate in worship. Nor had he ever donated food or money to the gods or brahmins. Lord Vishnu was pleased with her strict fasting and worship, but he thought that the Brahmini had purified the body by fasting and worshiping. That is why it will definitely get Baikunthlok. But he has never donated food, so what will happen to his food in Baikunth Lok?

Thinking so, Lord Vishnu went to the Brahmin in the guise of a beggar and asked for alms from him. Brahmani gave him an earthen lump in alms. Lord took him back to Baikunth Lok. After some time Brahmani also left the body after death and came to Baikunth Lok. Because of donating soil, a palace was found in Baikunth Lok, but there was nothing in his house. Seeing all this, she said to Lord Vishnu that I have fasted and worshiped you throughout my life but there is nothing in my house.

Greatness of fasting story –

Hearing his problem, God said that you meet the goddesses of Baikunth Lok and listen to the greatness of Shatila Ekadashi fast and charity. Follow it, all your mistakes and mistakes will be forgiven and your wishes will be fulfilled. Heard the importance of Shatila Ekadashi from the goddesses in Brahmini and this time donated sesame seeds along with fasting. It is believed that the number of sesame seeds that a person donates on the day of Shatila Ekadashi, lives happily in Baikunthalok for a thousand years.
