On this day a palanquin is taken out from the temple of Shri Gajanan Maharaj and his feet are worshipped. No one has any information about his birth and place of birth. He was a young man when he was first seen and he was eating food from false leaves and chanting ‘Gam Ganga Ganat Bute’. He got the name Gajanan because of uttering ‘Gam Ganga Ganat Boote’.
The whole life of Gajanan Maharaj is full of miracles. Once when Maharaj was doing penance as a Digambara, a woman was fascinated by him and went to him, but she saw that the grass kept below the Maharaja’s brilliance had been consumed. The woman felt very sorry for having a wrong attitude towards the Maharaj and asked for his forgiveness. Once the king felt thirsty. He asked for water from Bhaskar Patil, who was passing by, but he refused. Then Maharaj saw the well there, which had been dry for 12 years. Maharaj sat down near the well and started chanting God. Due to the tenacity of chanting, the well was filled with water. Many such miracles are famous among his devotees.

This temple has been made in such a way that one can have darshan of Saint Gajanan Maharaj even from outside the temple and this darshan is called Mukha Darshan and those who have to take close darshan of Maharaj, they can go through the tunnel and have darshan. can. In the sanctum sanctorum where the idol of Maharaj is situated, there is ample space where devotees can stand and pray to Gajanan Maharaj and can also have a comfortable darshan. Many beautiful idols of gods and goddesses have also been made in the upper part of this temple.
